Hi I’m Jeremy and, for my sins, I’m a full-time professional photographer. I’m married to an amazing (and very tolerant) Charlotte with 4 (yes four!) great kids.

I received my first “proper” camera when I was 13. A gift from my father, it was a brand new, Russian built camera called a Zenith EM. It was bulky and built like a brick but was the start of a passion for capturing images of the world as I saw it. It was a completely manual camera so it forced me to learn the technical skills of photography that I still draw upon today.

Looking through a viewfinder for me is a way of expressing who I am. I guess I would describe myself as an artist. I’ve been painting and drawing my whole life and I trained and worked as a graphic designer, but photography enables me to express myself artistically in a form that nearly everyone can relate to.

Photographing is more to me than just picturing the objects or people that are the subjects of my images; it’s about trying to tell the story of the people or the place, about getting the viewer to have an emotional connection with the image.

Photography gets me out of bed in the morning, it drives me all around the country and abroad and it lets me share my passion with my clients.
